ABOUT THE APPRAISER
Summary Henry Hotz has been involved in the appraisal and sales of Real Estate since 1986. He is an experienced Real Estate Appraiser and Real Estate Broker. At one time he co-owned and was the principal broker of one of the largest Real Estate Brokerages in the County of Essex. Although still licensed, Henry is no longer active in Real Estate sales. Henry has first hand knowledge of the neighbourhoods throughout southern Essex County, Pelee Island and South West Kent County. He has experience in residential, agricultural and industrial / commercial real estate. His background is primarily in single and multi-family residential as well as agricultural applications. He has completed appraisal assignments for mortgage lending purposes, mortgage insurance purposes, estates, matrimonial disputes, tax purposes, partial takings, contemplated sales, contemplated purchases, insurance reproduction / replacement costing, power of sales, corporate relocations, bankruptcies, property expropriations, pre and post nuptial agreements, new building construction, construction progress assignments, as is / as if complete valuations and property tax assessment appeal purposes. He has completed review appraisal assignments. Henry has been recognized by and has given expert witness testimony in court. Henry is a CRA designated member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada, the largest and best-known organization of real estate appraisers, valuators and property consultants in Canada. Appraisal Institute members hold the designations, AACI, Accredited Appraiser Canadian Institute or CRA, Canadian Residential Appraiser.
